Please donate to help Pike Gamma Phi furnish our newly renovated lounge in Davis. The lounge has been blessed with a complete renovation and includes brand new floors, walls, bathrooms, an improved bar, a new disco booth and more. We have a great opportunity to furnish the lounge to our liking and with increased funds from alumni and parents we can make the new Pike lounge the best and most well-known space on campus for years to come.
The lounge has two main spaces, which will be connected, but will each serve a different purpose. Our first purpose is to foster a learning and business-like environment for brothers to study and do homework. In this space, we hope to feature a huge table that can seat several brothers comfortably. This will also be a useful space for chapter meetings, school projects, and for when we open up the lounge to other organizations on campus. A big hope this year is that we partner with other on-campus organizations and use our campus-central space and social influence to help make a positive change at Wake Forest.
Our second purpose is to create a fun space where members of the fraternity and all affiliates, from family to alumni, can spend time with each other. This space will serve as a sort of “game room” where we’ll have couches, a TV, and a gaming system so brothers can unwind and hang out after a long day of school. Like last year, this room can serve as the casual place where a few brothers get together for football Sunday or the rowdy spot where everyone comes to watch the Super Bowl. By furnishing this room in an awesome way, not only will brothers and family absolutely love it, but it will greatly help with rush and will cement Pike's place as the best fraternity on campus. We hope to get a huge couch, or several couches as well as a large TV or possibly a projector.
