Raising money to support Philippe's recovery from a car accident on 9/13.
Philippe was involved in a car accident on Wednesday on the way to Pinecrest, to help set up a festival. From his FB post: "I'm okay and will heal. It's going to be a little while before I walk. "
Philippe has been in the hospital since Wednesday (it's now Sunday night). Some of the surgeries he went through (from his FB post) are: "They screwed the head of my tibia back on, and used titanium plates to keep my hip bone solid while it heals for the next few weeks... they will set the fracture in my right tibia and put in a pin so it stays there."
We still don't know exactly what Philippe's situation is and how long and expensive the treatments, loss of equipment (the car is totaled) and loss of income will be, but funds will most definitely be helpful.
This is a time for our community to come together and help Philippe, Paget and Phenix recover from this horrible accident.
Philippe is an incredible leader in the SF festival and conscience community- thought leader, teacher, producer, friend.
