A million dreams

Donation protected
Hello there! My name is Christine Jameson, though many recognize me as Pineapple on the rendezvous circuit. I am asking for support in a new venture.

* follow story to bottom for photos of items*

Ron and I purchased all the equipment from an established thirty year old business which was closing due to medical issues. The owners decided to retire. For years they have been casting traditional lead free pewter charms and figures. We are relocating the whole operation to Minnesota.

Fortunatly I have an artist for a daughter, Anna, and Anna's best friend, cousin,Torey is also very artistic. Both are hard workers and have dreams they share. We have a temporary location for which to set the equipment up and a friend who is a master gold and silversmith. He will be working with the girls and teaching them the craft of designing jewelry.

The long term goal is to find a permanent home for the retail business and manufacturing. Low and behold we found it and what a dream it is. It is a historic train depot in northern Minnesota, with an attached house and a garage out back. Zoned for commercial, retail and single family all in one. It is ready to walk in and set up now.

The plan is to set up the depot area as a store and art gallery that the girls will run while they live in the house behind. We are beginning a pewter casting company that Anna and Torey will be managing out of the home. We share a love of living history, so the girls will be creating a variety of charms and other assorted pewter products, while continuing to attend historical reenactments around the country. How perfect that it is a historic building itself with a solid foundation and all the charm of a bygone age.

The time has come for them to leave the nest, spread their wings, and fly. They are chomping at the bit to succeed on their own, and have been working hard to achieve their goals. Help is needed. The asking price on the property is $149,000. We are using everything we can think of to raise funds and purchase the building to get up and running; with a solid foundation, we will have a much better start to our journey.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! Please pass it on to anyone you think might be interested in helping! Should you choose to help, again we thank you and will keep folks posted on the progress of this new chapter in our lives.

We by no means want or expect something for nothing.
Below are photos of some of our handmade items that we will offer as thank-you gifts to our supporters! Check back often as we will continue to post new works of art for sale. Also if you click on the title of the items below it should take you to the photos of the items.
