Running for my St Croix Colleagues

My company has 2 offices and 76 employees in St Croix who were all affected by the recent hurricanes, Irma & Maria. The devastion caused by Maria is unimaginable and for many losing homes and some to all of their possessions. Return to basics like electricity, clean water, cell phone service may not happen until end of the year. My company is providing financial and sullpies support which I am proud to be a part of. 

I decided to run a mile for every colleague affected by the storms by end of the month. Yes that means I am runningi 76 miles in the next 20 days.  I haven't run 76 miles in the last 20 years combined, so this will be a little painful. Nothing compared to what they are experiencing. 

I challenge all my friends and former co-workers to give as I run. Pledge a per mile donation, flat donation, whatever you can. These people need our help. Follow my progress as I will provide updates on the 76 mile journey. I estimate 28-30 running sessions over the 20 day period to meet the 76 total mile goal. All funds will be sent to our compnay contact in St Croix to get into the hands of those who need it.
