Dragon Boat USA World Championship

Since 2009, Peter Lempesis has paddled in the Southeast's competitive Dragon Boat circuit,
bringing back to Charleston numerous awards and honors. He has helped shape and grow the paddling community in the Lowcountry and is committed to making Charleston the premier city for the sport of Dragon Boating.

Peter trialed and won a position with TEAM USA to compete at the International Canoe Federation Dragon Boat World Championship in August 2012 - a 5 day event held in Milan, Italy where over 35 countries will be competing to win their country title of World Champion for 2012 and 2013.

This will be an experience of a lifetime, and a major step in Peter's dragon boat and paddling career.
All proceeds will go to funding Peter's athlete fees, registration, housing, food, and transportation while attending the 5 day event (and 3 preceding days of practice).
