Peter Ellis is one of the hardest working people you could know. He is a well known and highly regared painter in the community. He is the type of guy that can strike up a conversation with anyone nd would give the shirt off his back to a total stanger. His son (and right hand man in his painting buisiness) injured his hand earlier his spring and has had numerous complications since. He has not been able to work for quite sometime now. Peter, his wife Jean and their family have had a roughgo of it, while helping their son, Kenny, through this extremly difficult time. Kenny has of been in/out of the hospital for several months and still has a long road ahead of him before returning to work.
Now Peter has taken a fall and broken his leg in three places. the docters are a bit perplexed as to how to handle the multible breaks. They have to bevery conscious that setting one break does nt interfere with how the other breaks heal. Peter has a very long road ahead of him. Peter is positive and confident that the leg will heal, but unfortunately he has several other health problems to be considered. Peter spends too much time on ladders and staging. Unfortunately, the combined health problems most likely mean that Peter will never be able to go back to painting. Peter has painted for over 30 years and currently des not have other work to fall back on. Jean is now the constant nurse to Peter and Kenny and the family "Bread winners" have been sidelining with out the chance of returning to work in the near future,. For Peter, he may never be able to paint again.
While Peter and Kenny heal, the expenses and bills keep coming in without any income. Peter is looking at all his options, but unfortunately everything takes times and in the meantime it is impossible to keep up with their expenses.
