Peru Mission 2013
On February 22nd, 3 Christians from Burleson, Texas
will venture to Peru to serve some of the most impoverished people on earth. Jim Werley, Donny Scott, and Glenda Scott will be travelling with
medical and building teams to work for the Santisimo
Sacramento mission for 5 days. The experience is expected to be laborious
and fulfilling. They will lend a hand in whatever humble capacity they're
needed. The work can and likely will include: medical treatment, food and
medical deliveries, shelter construction and repair, and most importantly the sharing of the
Gospel message through action.
A private loan has provided the leverage to book flights and
ground transportation for the group. Financial assistance is needed to pay this
debt and provide food and shelter during more than 3,000 miles of travel.
Prayer is needed more than anything. Please pray for safe travels and a successful mission that provides hope and comfort to the sick and impoverished, exemplifying Christ's teachings in every way.
