As you all know, Puerto Rico, the island of one of ours (Dr Cáceres) has been hit really hard by hurricane Maria.
Her family and friends were all, in one way or another, affected.
The images of the desperation and thoughts of all lives at stakes, such as people and animals stuck in their homes or without a home, others threatened by a dam about to collapse, people in need of dialysis or other urgent care in hospitals that have no power, all this in a scorching heat with no air conditioning, etc, has me and others feel helpless.
Meanwhile, our clown of a president is more concerned by NFL players kneeling down during the national anthem..... What a disgrace of a human being!!!....
I am starting a 'go fund me' to help fellow americans from Puerto Rico and show support to our colleague and friend Dr Cáceres.
I set to end the campaign in 5 DAYS from now, as the help needed is URGENT and cannot wait, given the inaction and carelessness of our leadership.
Once the campaign is over, I will give the money raised to Dr Cáceres for her to send to an organization of her choice that is on the ground there provided much needed support--
