Penn Christian Academy has served the community with exemplary academics in a multicultural, Christ-centered environment since the school was founded in 1966. The programs for three year olds through 8th graders are designed to support our mission to provide an excellent academic foundation, build character to transform society, and encourage students to form personal relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dually accredited by The Middle States Association of Colleges & Schools and The Association of Christian Schools International, our curriculum is of the highest quality with age appropriate biblical integration throughout all subject areas. Penn Christian Academy’s students benefit immensely from our rigorous academic program and plethora of extracurricular and athletic offerings inspired by the objective of founding headmaster Richard G. Johnson to “minister to the whole child.” Our alumni continue to experience high levels of success and accomplishments in their high school years and beyond.

Following our 50 year anniversary, PCA’s campus began to realize multiple needs. Specifically we have had to make some significant changes and repairs to our building this past year. Some of these improvements are more visible than others, but all are essential to the continuation of our school and the safety and security of our children. Through many volunteer hours and generous donations, we have been able to accomplish some of these tasks like new paint and carpet in the east wing. Other necessary projects also required outside contracting like an upgraded furnace and a brand new roof over the gym.

Over the course of a few years this would have been a lot for any school to handle, but completing many of these initiatives all in one year was a tremendous effort. We praise our Lord for giving us the strength and endurance to meet these challenges: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Current (and immediate) needs include our west wing roof, an overhaul of paint throughout the school, new carpet and flooring, and updates to both girls’ and boys’ bathrooms. Since these capital expenses are over and above our normal operating budget, we now need your generous help to support our 50 W. Germantown Pike campus. By making these current repairs and working on proactive improvements now, we can avoid additional major repairs in the coming years.
