Lumbar Discectomy Surgery

Greetings. My name is Pedro, i´m 36 years old and i´m from Portugal, i live with my girlfriend, and 2 lovely cats that i rescued after they were abandoned. My current medical situation started in March 2018, the morning of 26th March I woke up with a severe pain in my leg and unable to move it. I immediately went to the doctor who gave me painkillers that had little effect, was put on medical leave and some tests were prescribed. I performed Lumbar CAT scan and Hip X Ray, the X Ray did not return results were normal but the CAT identified problems with the spine, double curvature scoliosis between L2-L3, L4-L5 with disc protrusion and spinal platform irregularity. On April 2019 i did an MRI of the full spine and the result is this: I was then referred to Orthopedics/Hip which after questioning and some physical examinations indicated that the pains presented were not only related to the problems in the spine. He then prescribed a Dunn view X Ray that gave has a result a CAM-type Femoroacetabular Impingement conflict on my left hip. On August 19th was finally decided by the doctor to fix the herniated disc between L4-L5(Pictures Above) to remove the numbness in my left leg and foot, because its impossible for me to walk for more than 1 minute without getting severe pain. After this procedure my condition will be reevaluated to see if it will be necessary to have surgery on my hip to fix the Impingement.  The surgery will be preformed in the next 3 months (prediction). It has been a long an painful journey all this months but now im hoping that, with the surgery, i can live normally and return to my job supporting my house.
