Paying tribute to Dirk Keck

It is with very heavy hearts that we share tragic news. Our Regional Commissioner, Dirk Keck, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 5th, 2019.
Dirk was one of a kind. He was an exemplary father and husband, and on top of all he did for the community, he was an extraordinary family man. His outgoing demeanor and zest for life was endearing to all who knew him. You could always find Dirk at the soccer fields. His passion was life on the pitch. He spent a good amount of his time coaching, officiating games, and of course, filling the role of Regional Commissioner for Diamond Bar AYSO. Every decision he made for Region 31 was for the kids, and he always said exactly that. His drive and dedication to the region was unparalleled. He was determined to give every player the best AYSO experience possible, and that was very easily seen in his actions.
The loss of Coach Dirk has rocked our AYSO family so deeply. He was a mentor, a leader, and most importantly, he was a friend. Dirk was the heart of Region 31 and is already so missed.
To assist in offsetting out-of-pocket expenses for the family, we are requesting help from our AYSO friends and families. All donations made will go to the Keck family, for whatever financial needs they may encounter. We appreciate any amount you can give. We are so grateful to everyone for their prayers, positive thoughts and kind words during this difficult time.
