Eviction stopped!

My landlady has been trying to get me evicted from my apartment for years and lately she has been more successful with her strategy.  She has been playing a very aggressive game.   My roommate moved out due to the pressures/threats we were under and for a long time I could not ask for anyone to move in knowing that the housing was uncertain which has caused an extra financial strain.

I have been living in my apartment for almost 12 years and she knows she can get significantly more rent if someone else moves in.

I was raised to keep my private life private, and while I have a lot of guilt reaching out for help, I have a lot more gratitude that I might be able to get the help I need.  I try my hardest not to contribute to unnecessary drama, but today I find myself backed into a bit of a corner and this is very hard for me.  After many months and a series of unfortunate events I find myself for the first time in my life in a position to ask for financial help from my friends.  This IS the most stressful times in my adult life and I really appreciate any and all help, even words of encouragement.
