Pauls Weight Lose Parachute Jump

For many years I have been over weight and have been finding it hard to lose weight. Due to a health scare I thought that I had to do something to lose the weight so I went on a strict 800 calorie a day diet with exercise. I done a lot of walking I borrowed 2 lovely dogs from #borrowmydoggy and other  physical activities to help me take my mind off food and lose weight. I started the diet back in October 2020 and up to this day I have lost nearly 5 stone. Being over weight was very embarrassing and was not able to partake in many activities and for many years I have always wanted to do a parachute jump so I set myself a target and decided that if I meet this target I will do a parachute jump. Being an ex-serviceman I thought that the best charity to do the jump for was #SSAFA as they are there when we need them and they do a great job helping serviceman both past and present. The date of the parachute jump is Saturday 1st May at Beccles Airfield in Suffolk. Now that I have lost the weight I can now wear outrages  cloths and hats  which I was not able to do before this.

I want to say a big Thank You to all of those of you who have kindly donated to this worthwhile cause.

Here is an update:

Due to unforeseen circumstances the skydiving center had to put the jump back a month, so the new date is Saturday May 1st. So far I have not reached my target, so I am still looking for kind donors to support my worthwhile cause which is SSAFA. I am still working on losing more weight, my weight is now 90 kg so I have lost about 45 kg since Oct 2020. I never thought that I would ever reach this weight, so it shows that anything can be done when you set your mind too something, determination is the key.

PS: I hope you like the hat, and yes I am happy though I may look unhappy
