Ho'ike Hawaii Hula Competion

Aloha!

My name is Pauline Villa and I am a member of a Hula Halau out of Bellevue, Washington

First off, I would like to thank everyone again that donated to last year's competition in Sacramento, CA. Although we did not place in the competition, we had lots of fun, met lots of new people, and 

Being born and raised in Hawai'i (Island of Oahu), having great appreciation and respect for the beauty of many Polynesian arts, especially the art of Hula and Tahitian dance was something that came naturally to me. I am proud to continually participate in Hula and Tahitian, to continually spread the beauty of the Islands, the art of the Polynesian people to those here on the Mainland. 

In July 2016, our Halau will be competing in the Ho'ike Hawaii Hula Competition in Orlando, Florida

I am humbly seeking your help again in raising funds for this Competition.

Donations will cover:

airfare (round-trip to Orlando, FL)
costumes and accessories
fresh flowers (flown in from Hawaii)
hotel accommodations
vehicle rental 
gas
additional tuition for extra practice sessions
my portion of all competition costs
