On Thursday, April 24, 2014 I was forced to leave my home of 3 years due to 2-alarm fire that destroyed my apartment as well as my neighbors' homes in Charles Village.
Let me begin by saying that my neighbors and I are all safe, including my kitty , Jasmine. I am a firm believer in that God has a reason for EVERYTHING including this situation.
This brings me to my reason for starting a Go Fund Me project. I need your help to raise $5,000 to put my pieces back together.
The money will be used to help with getting a new apartment, replacing basic furniture and basic living supplies.
I've been told that it takes a village...Be my village.
Despite the loss of most of my things and my residence I haven't misplaced my vision which is even brighter now. I want to thank my friends and family that have helped me thus far with a place to stay, monetary donations, and assistance. I will always be grateful for you support during this crazy time.
The first battle is done I made it through the fire, now it's time for the real work; living the life God gave me another chance to live!
