Please share Paul's story--
January 2014, Paul Cook was diagnosed with Goodpastures Syndrome a rare autoimmune disease that affects 1 in a million people every year. This disease almost took his life. Thankfully he was admitted to the hospital and started treatment almost immediately, had he not Paul would be dead. After 3 weeks in the hospital, a lung biopsy, and various tests, we aren't out of the woods yet. His treatment is very costly and unfortunately his insurance doesn't cover his medication. We do not have sufficient funds and Paul is currently unable to work. Help us raise money so he has a chance at recovery! Paul's chemotherapy, steroids, and antibiotics cost approximately $10,000 for the first six 6 months--he is expected to be treated for 6 months to a year.
