Paula (aka DUMMY) has had Multiple Sclerosis for 18 years and subsequently been unable to work for the past 6 years due to the progressively debilitating disease.
Paula has tried an extensive list of
treatments in hopes of slowing the progression of the disease without relief. Recently Paula has been approved to travel to Pueblo, Mexico for
Hematopioetic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT).
This procedure shows promising results in reversing and/ or stopping the effects of MS, unfortunately insurance does not cover the costs of the $50,000+ treatment.
