Patty's Memorial Costs

Donation protected
Thankful for the generosity of friends, family, and even strangers, Patty's family grieves her passing from this life on the evening of June 20, 2016. She was laid to rest on the morning of June 25, 2016, by her two children and beloved husband. She will be memorialized by friends and family in a local gathering. She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Please help her husband of more than 40 years with the costs of laying his beautiful wife to rest and memorializing her precious memory. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation here or PayPal with the email [email redacted]

Thank you again, sincerely.

***********************************************************

Patty has breast cancer. She is the matriarch of a growing family, with a loving husband, two grown children, and 5 grandchildren (so far!). She raised her children while writing music and singing and playing her guitar, running a house-cleaning business, planting beautiful vegetable gardens, and helping her husband build houses and tend to dogs, chickens, and goats. She loves nature and is known to cry tears of joy while listening to songs about the Lord. She is one of six children, with her 85-year-old mother (also a breast cancer survivor) still living in Central New England and missing her very much.

After recovery, Patty plans to plant more lush gardens, write more songs, hold all of her grandchildren, and travel from her home in Tennessee to see her mother.

Patty is 60 years old and has been battling breast cancer for 2 years. Due to her medical needs, her husband Dave recently made the choice to quit working in order to care for her full-time. They are in the process of seeking other forms of financial aid, but the list of expenses grows daily.

With the treatments they have sought out since discovering the first tumor, they have had success and frustration. The original tumor is now gone, but the second tumor near her lymph under her arm has grown to the size of a grapefruit, has caused her to drastically lose weight, triggered off blood pressure issues, drains all her energy, causes tremendous pain, and has confined her to her bed. In just the last week, there was promising reports of the second tumor possibly dying off, but it will take some time with continued treatment and will incur much more medical costs.

The estimated out-of-pocket costs for the short-term future are $10,000. With no savings and no steady income, Patty and Dave are asking for your generous help. Her family wants her well!

Please consider donating. No amount is too small! Even $5 will help cover the cost of one high-quality protein shake, or eight electrolyte drinks.

Please share on ALL social media to help spread the word!
