Jim and Kari's Romania Mission Trip

Hi everyone!
Jim and I have been blessed with the amazing opportunity to serve God this summer! We will be traveling for a week with our church to Brasov, Romania on a mission trip. We will be working with an organization called Firm Foundations Romania volunteering at the Brasov Children's Hospital caring for orphaned babies. FFR has partnered with the hospital to provide diapers, toys and other basic items that the hospital alone can't provide. Volunteers like us travel to the hospital to change, feed and love the babies and do whatever else is needed to help.
We know the small amount of time we spend there will not only impact the babies and the hospital, but will also impact us. This mission trip will allow us to see the glory of God first hand, grow our relationships with Him and strengthen our bond as a couple and parents.
We are so looking forward to this amazing opportunity, but we need your help. A common misconception is that the church funds the trip...not so much. Our total cost is $5,000. Like you, we don't have that kind of money lying around. We know God wants us to do this and we know you will help us make it happen. We've searched the couch cushions, cleaned out our cars and our savings. Now it's your turn. Your donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated!
