medical bills/expenses

In December of 2013, we received the most devastating news any family could get. Our beloved husband, papa, son and brother Alex was diagnosed with stage 4 Kidney Cancer with metastasis to both lungs.  It was an incredible blow to all that know and love him.  The kind that knocks the wind out of you.  Here we are 7 months later and this horrible disease is ravaging his body.  As a wife it is heartbreaking to see the person I am supposed to grow old with go through so much pain and sadness.  And, to see him worry so much about our two girls who are 2 and 8 years old.  Alex has always been an incrdibly caring and considerate person to everyone. During his treatment I have gone on family leave and now money is getting tight. We are able to cover our mortgage but that is it about all.
