Friends! Family! Artists!

    I am really excited to share that I have recently accepted an offer to attend a summer printmaking workshop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the Tamarind Institute from July 7th to August 1st. I have been hearing about Tamarind, one of the top lithography studios internationally, for many years, and cannot wait for the opportunity to sharpen my lithographic skills! This educational experience will support me in leading my creative home and workplace, Kala Art Institute, towards improvements in the lithography workshop, and will also expand the terrain of my own creative practice through significant technical learning in an advanced medium I have yet to deeply engage.

    I've been working really hard this year in support of many artists at Kala and beyond, so this will also be a big opportunity for me to focus on being a learner and a working artist for three weeks. I aim to contribute $1000 myself and raise $2000 of the $3000 I'll need. ($1500 tuition, $500 housing, $500 travel, $500 food and supplies.)
