Help #PapaJack beat Cancer

Hello Friends,
Two months ago, my dad called me and said” Hey son I need you to take me to a doctor first thing in the morning”. My dad never does it, my dad dealt with every problem he faced hands on his entire life, until now.
Raised by a single mother in post-WWII Poland was not necessarily the nicest upbringing place, but he persevered started his own family and brought my brother and me to the USA some time ago.
His and my mom’s sacrifices can’t be easily measured, and now he is in need.
That day when he called, we went to see his primary physician, and everything has changed ever since.
He was rushed to an emergency room, with a suspicion of a brain stroke, which sadly turned out to be true. I’m here to tell you what came out of this sad day a few days later.
The very next day, I came back to visit him in a hospital, and to my big surprise, I stumbled upon an Oncology doctor reviewing his charts. This moment the time had stopped. MD Karides said “ It looks like a cancer, we have to start a treatment right of way”…..and we did.
Fast forward two months later, my dad was in and out of a hospital due to pneumonia and side effects inflicted by both chemo and radiation therapy. He has lost nearly 30 lbs. since beginning of the year, he is weak, sad and his mentality is swirling down. Seeing him now how he is suffering simply breaks my heart.
My dad Jacek has been unable to work for past few months now, and his work place isn’t loaded with benefits such as short or long-term disability…unfortunately.
In a joined effort please help PAPA Jack in a fight with this darn cancer by offering financial support (no matter how small), as hospital bills started to come in and are out side of our financial reach. We have reached 25% mark of a treatment so far. Four more sessions of chemotherapy are needed to contain and eventually destroy cancer cells. Cancer stage is still in a limited state, but aggressive treatment must be exercised to prolong his life.
My family (my mom-Renata, my bro Karol) and of course my dad will be forever grateful for any gesture that puts a smile back on his face. Send him a message on FB to lift his spirit up it is his birthday today!!!
I really hope a year from now, I can send another message but this time on a positive note. Seeing my dad living his life once again, working, volunteering as he had, scolding me as dads do putting together a miniature plastic aircraft models, kissing my mom.
