Pam Johnson lost income

One of the scariest things about being diagnoised with any kind of cancer is the fear that it will come back in some other form. That is exactly what has happened to my friend Pam Johnson. Just when she thought she was out of the woods from her bout with a double masectomy and rounds of chemo therapy 3 years ago her life came to a screaching halt again because the Cancer has reared it's ugly head in the form of leukemia.  She will be receiving two types of chemotherapy and the treatment confines her to her hospital room at Johns Hopkins for at least 4 weeks. When she is released from the hospital Pam will still have another four weeks of out patient care including  chemotherapy treatments and regular trips to the hospital. There's  really no way of knowing how long the recovery time will be but Pam and Linda are expecting it to be at least until the end of the year. The expences that pile up with cancer treatment are too many to mention here but I know from personal experience that if it wasn't for the financial support from the "Go Fund Me" that my friends set up for me I would have lost everything.
Pam has spend the greater part of her life protecting and serving the people of Annapolis as a police officer and now it's our turn to protect her. The worry and fear of having cancer reoccur is certainly enough stress for  Pam and Linda without adding to it the worry of  finances.
