Pam Needs Breast Reconstruction

2018 Started out great for Pam Dunsmore-Jump who as a single mother recently became a grandma for the first time.  Then in February she found a lump on her right breast, went to the doctor, and got diagnosed with Stage 2, Triple Negative Breast Cancer, a fast moving Invasive Ductile Carcinoma.  Anxiety and fear took over when she was given the news and realized she might not be around to see her lovely grandson grow up.   This, after years of battling an debilitating eye problem, was not how she or her kids saw 2018 going.

Hoping for the safest option, on February 22nd, Pam had a double mastectomy.  It's a painful procedure that has taken her away from work and earning an income to cover her rent, medical bills and other expenses.  What we hoped would be a quick and safe approach was full of complications.  

Worse yet, the breast tissue results came back and they weren't good. Pam had to start expensive, painful and time consuming Chemo treatments that have kept her away from work for almost a year now.  The continual swelling and infections throughout limited her mobility and made a difficult situation even more difficult.   Even in pain and at a time that many would loose hope,  Pam has held tight to her faith and optimistic to her future as she tries to figure out how to battle what she's confronted with each time she goes to the doctor.

Making matters even worse are looming medical bills for long term cancer treatments and breast reconstruction.  Toss in payments for medical insurance and all the other monthly bills and she can use our help and prayers.
