Our friends and family in Puerto Rico need all of our help. Even with the full resources of the United States government, local resources and support of charities, the people of Puerto Rico continue on a very uphill battle.
We must make sure to help our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico return to 100% health and happiness. Their story is the story of the United States of America. We all stand together in times of need, raise each other up when we are down and celebrate in our successes.
As every day passes, we find more effective ways to get the resources you donate directly to the people who need it. It's not over-- it's far from over-- but progress can be made!
All donations received will be used to purchase:
- Emergency first aid kits
- Fuel cards
- Store cards such as Walmart, Target, etc. where people are standing in long lines to buy goods
- Small portable electric generators
- Other essential items that people desperately need.
I will be traveling to Puerto Rico on November 29th at my own expense so any donations will be given 100% to assist MI GENTE. Any donation, whether is $1.00 or $100, will be greatly appreciated and put to use!
