THE PRIDE CENTER IN TEL AVIV

The Pride Center in Tel Aviv, Israel provides therapy, medical services, legal consultations and community gatherings and entertainment not only for the LGBT population, but for anyone and everyone in need. We host Shabbat Halmaka once a month in the evening, which is a time for all individuals to come together to eat, drink, and feel apart of a warm and welcoming community. This Shabbat dinner often serves as a family substitute for many of the attendees who do not have any family to go home to so this monthly event is very special. In addition, there is Bait Midrash which is Jewish studies for LGBT people to come and speak with other LGBT people to express themselves without fear, and to learn and read from the Torah. 


The Pride Center is currently struggling to finance these two events and the many other activities that have become so important in the daily lives of all the people it serves. Please help us so that we can continue to help the LGBT community in Tel Aviv and make their world a more free, loving, and accepting place.
