P.O.P. (Play On Purpose) Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012. POP Inc. exists to develop youth through athletics and leadership while fostering an appreciation for education. Ultimately, equipping all young people with the tools to become better scholars, athletes and leaders on and off the court. P.O.P.  Inc. services youth primarily throughout Baltimore, Maryland with smaller initiatives in Philadelphia, PA. Our unique organization is growing rapidly throughout the city and region. We are committed to developing athletes both on the court and off the court. We believe that there is a purpose in everything we do. Therefore, being an athlete simply does not mean being great on the court; we must teach our young people that the same skills that are developed on the court, are the same skills that can propel them academically, socially and professionally.


Thank you for donating to our cause.  There are over 200 CDF Freedom School sites nationwide. However, your donation will aid founding the first athletic and leadership based program.The national program seeks to build strong, literate, and empowered children prepared to make a difference in themselves, their families, communities, nation and world today (see more at:http://www.childrensdefense.org/programs/freedomschools). Athletes will develop a love for reading, and leadership off the court and improve athletically on the court!
