POOF Teen Center has become a vital safe haven for the teens of Durham, providing essential opportunities for learning, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. However, our lease is up in February, and the reality is that I currently pay $4,700 out of pocket every month to keep our doors open. This rent is becoming too expensive for me to sustain on my own.

<div>Over the last three years, I have dedicated my time, energy, and more than $200,000 of my own resources to ensure that our teens have a nurturing and supportive environment. I provide free transportation for our 57 teens, often making multiple trips in a 14-passenger van to guarantee everyone can participate in our programs. I embrace each teen as my own, assisting them academically and empowering them to explore their passions and potential.
