On Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 9:13p.m. a tragedy struck the McKee family that has forever changed the lives of many! Paul, his wife Alicia and their 12 year old son were on a work trip. Paul and Alicia were crossing the crosswalk to get some groceries when they were struck by a car that did not stop. Paul was killed and Alicia continues her stay in the trauma unit at the local hospital in West Palm Beach, FL.
As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, the most important thing in Paul’s life was sharing the Bible’s hope for the future, including God’s promise of a resurrection (John 5:28, 29). He had a firm and unshakeable faith that soon the earth will be filled with loving and righteous people, when death will be no more (Psalms 37:11, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4) and we are confident that he will be with us then.
Paul was dearly loved and his sudden and tragic death will continue to have a long-lasting ripple effect. He touched so many lives with his love, his sense of humor, his smile and his cooking! His wife, Alicia, has lost not only her husband, but her best friend. Madisyn and A'dian have lost their father. Eysah has lost her grandfather before she was even given the opportunity to meet him. Tyler and Madisyn both worked for her father and are currently unable to work due to this tragedy. In hopes of lightening the load on both of them, we are asking the community to please come together to give a little something if they can to help with medical bills and cost of living.
