Hey everyone. I am setting up this page for my wife Marisa, and son Evan. Marisa and Evan suffer from polycystinc kidney disease. Marisa also suffers from hemiplygic migranes, and seizured,she also passes numerous kidney stones on a monthly basis.Evan also passes as well but not on as frequent of a basis.
We are in need to raise money for help to pay for their medications and medical expenses as they are getting out of hand. Marisa is currently taking over 15 medications due to these medical problems and it runs well over $500 a month. Not to mention the Dr visits every other week. Marisa has been admitted to the hospital for extended stays three times this year already and her condition seems to be worsening. Eventually they will both need a kidney transplant, Marisa before Evan but still its the nature of the beast.
Marisa is unable to work or get health care due to her current medical problems. Marisa has been deemed too medical needy by the state as they will not cover her either.
Marisa and I have two childern, Evan (8) who is showing signs and symptoms of pkd his urologist believes he has and wants to diagnose but is afraid of the "lable" so we have to take him to a major hospital to get the proper label so he can get the proper insurance to help him through out his life so hopefully he does not end up as bad as my wife, and Brooke who is (2) and very much a diva in her own right :) . All that Marisa wants is to be able to be there for her childern, but because of her current health Marisa is either in the hospital or bed ridden most of the time.
Please help out if you can. Anything is appericiated even if it is just sharing the page.
