PHS's 1st Track and Field Invite!

Hello,
My name is Glenn Ecalne and I am a 2nd year personal finance/logistics and supply chain teacher and 1st year head Track and Field Coach at Patterson High School in Patterson, California. I’ve most recently transitioned from the private sector of which I spent 8 years in retail banking and another 8 years in logistics/supply chain to share my experiences, knowledge, and talents to teach at a local high school. As a former high school and collegiate athlete I understand the lessons of having strong values, perseverance, and solid work ethic that Track and Field has provided me.
I’m reaching out to my network of friends, family, and most importantly our community to help spread the word. Our goal is to achieve a self sustained and flourishing track program. We would like to establish a means by purchasing much needed equipment. The facility and equipment that we currently use is out of date. As a non-revenue sport we are operating with no booster club and no donations. Our facility is inadequate to host invitational track meets.
Funds will allow Patterson High School to host its first ever annual track and field invitational. It will also allow us to host all-comer meets during the summer and use the proceeds as a source of income helping the Patterson High School's Track and Field program to become self sustainable.
The funds will be used to purchase the following (In order of priority):
1) An automatic timing system (needed to host a legitimate invitational)
2) New Long/Triple jump and triple jump pits (also needed to host invitational).
3) Hard High jump pit cover (increase longevity)
Please help us in the continued development of our student athletes by donating to our track and field program. All donations are very much appreciated and no donation is too small. A tax ID number is available if needed.
