Phillip D Breske Recovery

Donation protected
On July 25, 2014, Phillip was injured in a flash propane explosion in the bookmobile that he was converting.  He is currently recovering at home after being released from Shands UF in Gainesville, FL.  Phillip had 3rd degree burns over 30% of his body.  He had three skin graft surgeries and nearly lost a battle with sepsis.

In total, he spent 13 weeks in the hospital. The doctors say complete recovery will take years, but he should be mostly normal after one week for each day spent in the hospital.

His family is asking that if anyone can make a donation, no matter how small, please do so.  Every little bit can help.

Below is some information on Phillip and his original plan for his future:

I've been interested in photography since my early teens and in 1985 I was given my first "real" camera as a gift. Since then my hobby has grown into a passion and for the past fifteen years I've been honing my skills as an artist and technician.

For the past three years I've been attempting to make a living with my photography while converting a 1995 bookmobile into a traveling photo lab/full-time home.

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer two years ago and my incentive to succeed as a photographer was replaced with my desire to get better. With time and treatment, I'm hopeful I'll be cancer-free in the next few years to months, but health issues such as this tend to sidetrack life's biggest plans.

I can't do this without your help. Please help me make my dream a reality!
