PBV Volunteer Patrol

We started Positively Bella Vista (PBV) in September of 2016 with the mindset of bringing the residents of Bella Vista together. Our goal was to surround ourselves with the positive attributes of people's lives in and around Bella Vista. Currently we have 4,500 members and are growing daily. Our vision is to become the very best stewards of our community, giving back and uniting this wonderful city in thoughts, acts and deeds.
Along with PBV, we started the Volunteer Patrol (VP) which was designed to help those in need in Bella Vista with yard work, tree trimming, tree removal, furniture moving, appliance repair, painting, and general household repair (and pretty much anything that folks need).
This will be the 2nd installment in this Go Fund Me program. In the first round, we were blown away by raising over $2,000 that went towards weed eaters, pressure washers, pressure washing attachments and hoses, driveway cleaning machine, ladders, leaf blowers, a pole saw, a gutter cleaner, cordless power tools, and all kinds of hand tools, (rake, shovels, socket wrenches, screw drivers, etc.) We really have become a powerhouse and can roll up to a job and bang it out quickly and professionally with these tools.
In addition to other private donations and a PBV garage sale, (thanks Ashely and Joe Becker!) we were able to raise enough for our very own PBV trailer to transport this equipment around BV. I hope you've seen us a time or two.
As PBV is approaching it's 2-year anniversary, and with close to 100 projects completed by the Volunteer Patrol, we need to get a few more things to really round out what we can do for our neighbors. We've received many requests for lawn mowing and we haven't really been able to accommodate. Most of the yards we get asked to cut haven't been tended in months. The grass and weeds are at times taller than us! We simply don't have the fire power with tiny push mowers to address these kinds of projects. And most of the yards here in BV are very sloped; trying to maneuver a push mower up and down these hills is difficult at best and quite frankly dangerous. Given our lack of power, we can't take on larger projects for the simple fact that it takes too long with small push mowers.
The time has come for a commercial grade mower that can handle anything we throw at it. We need a mower that has the power and capabilities to climb the terrain here in BV with power, precision and safety.
We're asking for an additional funds to get a mower to help round out our community arsenal -- plus a few dollars that can go towards additional tools, fuel, and supplies.
