Fresh Start for Garcia Family

We're collecting donations to help a family of 7 move out of their current living arrangement and into a better space after the murder of their son/brother.
The Garcia family is very talented and hard-working, with 5 kids exceling in school: a 19 year old son working and in college, twin 17 year old daughters, an 11 year-old boy and 4 year old girl.
On July 4th, their 18 year-old brother/son celebrated independence day at Kaboomtown with friends but was shot to death by gang members at the threshold of his home as he returned home. His truck was stolen and they tried to access his bank accounts unsuccessfully. It was later discovered that, despite the fact that he complied with the murderer’s request for car keys, he was shot as part of a gang initiation. He died in his father’s arms as his dad tried to resuscitate him.
Today, the entire family suffers from the trauma of the experience. They're reminded of the violent death of their beloved brother/son each time they enter the threshold of their apartment and have set up a shrine there. So, we’re raising money for the move, down payment on the new place, setting up utilities, first month's rent and any appliances they might need in their new place.
They’re a sweet and loving family and they deserve a fresh start as soon as possible. We'd like to move them before Christmas
