Darla's Semester in Oxford, UK

Hello my name is Darla Lynne Slater. I am going to back to college to finish my bachelor's degree after a long hiatus. I am 38 years young and I have been given to opportunity to go and spend a semester abroad in Oxford, England. This is a huge opportunity for me as I am an English Major. Education and passing that on to future generations is very important to me and I am longing to take my degree and life experiences and passing them on. The passion that I have for English Literature, will only grow with this trip. The Medieval and Renaissance Study Program offers great opportunities to travel and study Shakespeare, Beowulf, Mary Shelley, Percy Shelley, and several more.
I look forward to being able to thank you with passing on this great opportunity and knowledge to future generations and making our world a better, and well educated place.
