The Fort Logan Northgate Commanders want to go to Outdoor Education this year!
On May 11th, 12th and 13th, the 8th grade teachers at Fort Logan Northgate are taking 8th grade students to YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO. Students will complete numerous classes including geology, route orienteering, and the high ropes course. All classes are taught by experienced professional educators. The cost for each of the 100 students is $150. We are hoping to help out some of the students with partial or full scholarships to the program. Students are being asked to pay $25 per month, participate in fundraisers, and help with the student store, but with all of the other expenses families have, $150 can be hard for each student to raise. (It's exceptionally hard for our families who have two children in 8th grade this year.)
