Help Us Adopt Our Daughter

Donation protected
I hope that you will take the time to read further on and allow us to tell you a little more about our family, in the hopes that you will come to understand our reason for wanting to adopt as well as come to know the loving family that we are, just waiting for our little girl to complete it:
Michael & I are already the proud parents of three amazing little boys who fill our lives with countless happy moments as well as with occasional frustrating and difficult times, as any parent will tell you that children often do.

John (9yrs old) is our eldest and is a kind, loving and intelligent boy. He is wise beyond his years and it amazes us every day just how sincere and selfless he is, always thinking about not only his feelings but the feelings of those around him. He seems to be more anxious and excited about having an adopted baby sister than anyone. He is currently attending CCD classes on Sunday and is an active cub scout. He loves to draw and read and create things with both his mind and his hands. He is a blessing from the lord.

Seppe (7yrs old) is our 2nd born son; he is energetic, intelligent and extremely caring. He is always concerned about other people and is always asking me "what else can we give to charity, I want to help". He also attends CCD with his brother John and will be making his first communion this year, every Sunday at mass as John goes up to receive communion he asks " how much longer till I can do that, Mommy" he is very excited and can't wait to be just like his big brother. He is also a cub scout and a blessing from the lord.

Jack (5yrs old) is our youngest son. He is by far the funniest kid I have ever met. His two older brothers are always running up to us to tell us the "funniest thing Jackamo just said or did". He is a light-hearted, affectionate and very smart little boy who loves to make people laugh and has told us on multiple occasions that his favorite thing to do is make people smile. He is very excited about adopting his little sister and says that he wants to hear "his baby laugh", which apparently she --is "his" baby and he's going to let us share her. He also attends CCD and has recently joined his brothers in the scout ranks as a tiger cub scout.

My husband, Michael is an extremely hard working and loving husband and father. He always puts his family first and makes sure that we always have what we need, including an overabundance of love and affection. Between him and our children I have felt God's unconditional love over and over again and I know that we have much more to share with our adoptive daughter.

I myself am a stay at home mom and I homeschool all of our children. It was important to my husband and I that one of us be charged with being the constant presence in our children's lives and be there to mold them and help them come closer to God. Some may say that we have sacrificed the luxury of an additional income but to us being able to be with our children around the clock and teach them is a major blessing from God not a sacrifice.

After the many complications with the birth of our youngest son Jack, who was born with pulmonary hypertension and spent over the first month of his life in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) at Joe DiMaggio, we knew that when it was time to extend our family that we would do so through adoption. When we looked into adoption we were very surprised that the financial obligation to adopt was so very high and couldn't believe that the cost for adoption can be as high as $50,000.00 which most people don't just have laying around.

We have attempted applying for a loan which unfortunately we were declined due to our credit score not being high enough and the extremely strict financial guidelines for approval that we could not meet.

We now find ourselves totally humbled and in a postion where pride can no longer be allowed to hinder us from bringing our daughter home and completing our family. We ask that you pray for us and lend a helping hand by donating just $20. If we can get 1,400 people to each donate just $20, our dream of bringing our baby home will be realized and each one of those people will be responsible for it.

We realize that this is our financial situation and that we probably shouldn't even be asking but we felt that we should at least try and leave it in God's hands. I hope that you can assist us in some way as the dream of bringing our baby girl home seems to be moving further and further away. We figured that it was worth a shot. Thank you for taking the time to read our letter and may God bless you and your family many times over.
