Our Joey needs surgery

Our dog Joey has just been diagosed with cancer, Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He ia an 8 year young chocolate lab who has been with my daughter and myself since he was a puppy. Joey is a very big (even though he really thinks he is a lap dog) part of our little family.

My daughter, Olivia is 10 years old and says she needs to have him live, she connot lose him, and he is like her brother. She asked me to do anything I could to help him live a long life.

I have taken Joey to specialists in this field and have been told he needs to have a major surgery to remove the cancer, which includes his needing to have a portion of his nose removed, as well as expensive tests and medications to save him. I was told the price of the surgery and it far exceeds what I am able to provide. Olivia, my family and myself have been trying to come up with ways to fundraise to help us make this surgery possible for our pup !!! Olivia is diligently making crafts and jewelry to raise money and I am at this time asking, if possible, for donations to help us save our precious dog !!! Any donation you could help us out with would be so appriciated and Olivia and myself would be forever grateful !!!
