Hello, I heard what happened to vid48.com and the uproar it caused. I had plans on my shelf for bringing up a videostreaming site for so long already. After asking around if there is demand for such a project there were many users who liked to support a new streaming service for 48 Group (and other artists) shows and drama.
- About the Project -
Oshimen VOD is a video streaming site that will focus on subbed content of female idol videos.
- Donation -
This project will be realized no matter what but donations will be helpful in financing the technical stuff behind the curtain. I decided to go with a good Media Server Software for the benefit of everyone. It's Wowza Media Server. With that software i can easily deliver the video on demand contents to everywhere. Your tablet, phone, PC even your PS4 and there are no limits on the video resolution like vid48 so we can even go up to 1080p. Right now, I'm paying €55 monthly for Wowza Media Server. Every donation will go in helping the monthly payment of the site. But the ultimate goal is to raise €1200, which is the lifetime licence for wowza. There will be more benefit with the lifetime licence.
