6 Credits Away from Graduation

Hi everyone. My name is Oscar Chico and I am a current student at Parsons The New School for Design studying Fine Arts. This school is being paid by a scholarship that I receive from my commitment to my community in Queens, NY. I have been a Youth Leader at Make the Road New York for 7 years working for the rights of workers, immigrants, and people of color.

Unfortunately I am 6 credits short to graduate and I need to take them at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) this winter quarter so that I can graduate in the spring. The reason I need these final 6 credits is because I began at Parsons taking non-credit ESL classes. The reason I am asking you for help is because my scholarship does not cover courses taken during winter or summer terms. The cost for me to attend the 2 courses, pay for fees, books and live in the city close to school is $2,700.

Please help me graduate! I appreciate your help.
