Help Oroghene Graduate College

My name is Oroghene Okpegwa and I am an international student and a Junior at Georgia State University, studying Computer Information Systems. Studying in the United States has been rewarding and exhilarating. However, it has become incredibly difficult due to financial constraints in my family caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Due to these unforeseen circumstances and with just one year left, I am unable to pay my tuition fees and buy my books. To afford my living expenses, I work 6 days a week in addition to school, earning 8 dollars an hour due to my international student status requires me to work on campus only. 

A financial hold has currently been placed on my school account which will prevent all my class registration activities, the release of my official transcripts, and applying for graduation. It will also prevent me from receiving a degree. Finishing my college education is a crucial step in attaining my goals and making a difference in my society.  I am inspired, dedicated, and determined to excel. I desire to work efficiently to make a lasting impact in our world.

This fundraiser will alleviate my financial burden and help me to actualize my dream of becoming a data analyst. I will be provided with the opportunity to complete my education without  the fear of dropping out or of deportation, thereby expanding my knowledge and developing my analytical and research skills in order to reach my full potential.
