Oregon City Day School has been providing quality childcare and early education in Clackamas County for decades. As a staple in our community, we have served countless families over the years. As an inclusive and equitable program, we are here to serve all children and families in a way which values best practice in health and safety, developmental support, and fostering family connections.
As a business we are committed to serving children by providing consistent, reliable, quality care, and we have dedicated our lives to supporting working families. Early this year we decided to answer a call to action by expanding our program and opening a second campus. This site will provide over 80 more childcare spaces for families in our community. A global pandemic hit. Leaving the world, and especially working families, and small businesses like ours at a stand-still of uncertainty. And then...
A State of Emergency was declared as wildfires ravaged through Clackamas County and dangerously close to our own doorstep.
These unforeseen circumstances have severely impacted our carefully laid out plan to expand our program in order better serve you. It has taken everything out of us to remain open for our students, and retain our wonderful staff, leaving little room to fund our new campus. Ironically, a campus that is needed now more than ever.
We are calling on our community. We must reach the finish line on this project. Our new campus will ensure care for families of front-line essential workers, working families, and community members. It will ensure care and stability for students displaced by public school closures. It will allow for families to continue work knowing they have trusted, quality care.
We are reaching out in hopes that the community we serve will take part in our success. Our success is your success. One hundred percent of your donations will go directly into finishing our new campus, so that we may provide care for your children and support for your family in this time of crisis and beyond.
