Even a single dollar helps these endangered red apes. Every day more and more of the Borneo and Sumatra rain forests are being destroyed for industry. PLEASE join us in an effort to save these animals that share 97% of our human DNA with a one time donation.

Local politicians turn a blind eye to the disappearing habitat of the orangutan. Deforestation destroys the arboreal homes of these wonderful creatures.

Baby orangutans are taken by poachers after they kill the mother. They are chained to trees and often beaten to death when owners get tired of them. They are left in cages to starve.

The palm oil trade is also contributing to these great animals losing their habitat. Please urge companies such as Starbucks to stop using it in their baked goods. Clicking the link will take you to a petition to electronically sign.
