-----------------------------------THE SHOW----------------------------------------------------------

Come Up Productions will be putting up its first full-length production of Craig Wright's beautiful, hilarious, and heartwrentching piece, "Orange Flower Water" January 5/6, and 11-13.

SUMMARY

Described by the Chicago Sun-Times as "a brutally honest drama about marriage and infidelity", Orange Flower Water is a romance story that aims to do away with frivolousness and pay real attention to the gravity of how love can tear lives apart.

The show centers on David and Beth, who decide to leave their respective spouses behind to be with each other. However, each one finds that the real-life consequences of this decision to be a heavier burden on their fantasy romance than they anticipated.

Exploring a familiar story in an unflinchingly earnest way, Orange Flower Water asks a simple, terrifying question amongst all the complex emotions that love can bring out within us; is it worth it?

THIS WILL BE A SITE-SPECIFIC SHOW

We here at Come Up Productions want to tell our stories in new and interesting ways. So "Orange Flower Water" will be a found space production. This means the show will be performed in an actual suburban home, with the audience living in the same space that the actors perform in.

We can't wait to not only showcase this powerful script, but give an experience to go alongside it.

---------------------------------WHY DONATE?-------------------------------------------------
