#OperationJoseph Phase 2: Support Jews in Africa

#OperationJoseph is a project where African-Americans and all people are invited to send support to Jews in Africa, The Caribbean and African Jews in any part of the world. #OperationJoseph was launched in 2018 when I was visiting the Sefwi Jews of Ghana and learned of the needs of this community and also saw the needs of African Jews across the continent. As African-Americans we were inspired by the story of Joseph and his brothers in Genesis to support our African Jewish/Hebrew brothers and sisters. From 2018 to 2021 we raised over $42,000 gave support to 63 African Jewish/ Hebrew synagogues, congregations, orphanages, NGOs, farms and individuals needing assistance for education and medical fees.

 

We are continuing #OperationJoseph to support African Jews in Africa and the diaspora as well as Israel. We give support to ALL African Jews/Hebrews whether conservative, orthodox, Messianic or non-affiliated but we DO NOT seek to change the doctrines or beliefs of those we donate to. This is a project of family supporting family but we do invite people of all backgrounds to donate and bless Jews in Africa.

From 2021 to the present, we have continued to send support to African Jews in 18 nations and counting, including African Jews in African Diaspora from Haiti to Fiji and a historic Black community in Israel.

 

#OperationJoseph is a philanthropic project of Prophetic Whirlwind Ministries and we seek to support Jews in Africa in preserving their traditions and building strong communities.
