Hi, my name is Tim Fronczak and I am Kaitlyn's Uncle. I know first-hand how deeply motivated Kaitlyn is when it comes to helping others. She has already started as you can see from her picture above which was taken on one of the many mission trips she has participated in. I am so proud of her dedication and desire to receive the best education she can in order to help people for the rest of her life; this is why I am doing my part to help her with this amazing opportunity! Please read her letter below and help me raise the money she needs to get a world class education!
My name is Kaitlyn, and I’m a junior in high school. My dream is to become a pathologist in order to help people by researching diseases and discovering new ways to effectively treat them.
In pursuit of this dream, I have been working hard in school and helping others around me so I can show I have what it takes to be accepted next year into one of the most prestigious Pathology programs in the world at the University of Chicago. To start my path, I recently have been given the great honor of being one of only forty students accepted this summer for a Research in Biological Sciences program at the U of C. During this program, I will spend a month in the lab at the University of Chicago learning the techniques used in the most cutting-edge biological research facilities. Although the program is presented as a class, the majority of my days will be spent in the lab with the ability to perform complicated experiments that are not offered in traditional courses. Along with the invaluable knowledge I will learn in this course, attendance will greatly improve my chances of acceptance into this great school’s undergraduate program in the Fall of 2017. A chance to receive a world class education to make my dream a reality!
Because this program is so unique and lab-intensive, the tuition is significant. The total cost for this experience is $10,590. I have paid the $500 non-refundable deposit, but due to the time constraint, it will be impossible to earn the remainder on my own as the payment is due in July. Financial assistance is not readily available for a program of this nature and I really can't afford student loans before I am even in college. With my Mom returning to Graduate School to pursue her dream and my brother starting college this fall; it is up to me to raise this money to get a head start on my own dream. Please consider partnering with me for this amazing opportunity today and help me start receiving the education I need to help others tomorrow!
