It started as a whisper, a tiny mention on a Facebook post about a homesick soldier and his desire to share his favorite Root Beer with his fellow soldiers! < Then came the voices offering $5, $10, $15 even $50 top help get a case of Root Beer to our soldiers.

Welcome to our online payment portal. We are grateful for the men and women of our Armed Services who, through their continued dedication to the cause of Freedom and Democracy, we would not enjoy the way of life we have today. Here is your opportunity to give back, a small taste of home, a treat among the barren and unfamiliar, an effort to show our appreciation. Every dollar helps. The Root Beer, 54 cases worth, has been donated! The cost of shipping these 50 cases the only barrier!

Each case of Root Beer costs $25.90 to ship to Afghanistan...Here\'s the math for those that think $2000.00 is a lot of money for Root Beer! 54 cases @ $25.90 a case = $1398. Now we are almost there...but $500 of that came from the young Marine who got this whole thing going and I believe as a community we can give him his money back and cover the shipping ourselves. So that\'s $1398   $500 = $1898...Lastly this service and Paypal charge a combined fee of just over 7%...So that where we get the goal amount!

We have exceeded our cause amount considerably, thank you to all who have donated. We intended to continue using the money donated to ship as much Root Beer to Afghanistan as possible!

Round 2...
We have raised enough to tip the donations into another pallet of Root Beer for the Soldiers, we are actively seeking units deployed overseas to ship Root Beer to! If you know someone who is deployed overseas who like to receive some Dog n Suds Root Beer, have them send a picture of their unit along with their APO address to Operation Freedom Foam\'s Facebook Fan Site and we will get them Root Beer!
