Healing Support For Ariel and Will

On August 30th Ariel and Will welcomed baby Onyx into the world weighing 12oz and measuring a tiny 9.25 inches long. He was born at 20 weeks and 4 days gestation and unfortunately passed away shortly after birth. We are blessed to have so many people express a desire to do something to help as they go through the incredibly difficult journey of grieving baby Onyx.

Cost of funeral arrangements - When a baby is cremated you are given a small velvet pouch with the remains in it. We need to purchase an urn instead and pay for cost of birth and death certificates as well.

Monthly Expenses - There are many unexpected expenses when a family goes through a loss. Ariel has taken a leave from working and despite Will also needing time to heal, he is starting a new job to support their family. However, until Will completes the 2 week training period and Ariel returns to work, the family be will short on their upcoming bills. They are in need of support to pay for their monthly expenses (rent, food, gas, bills) until they can get back on their feet.

Therapy - Losing a child is one of the worst things a couple can go through. Many couples who go through a loss experience grief very differently and because of this, many relationships do not survive the loss of a child. Ariel and Will are in need of support to pay for couples therapy with a therapist who specializes in the loss of a child and grief. (Insurance will only cover individual therapy) We hope that this will support their healing and will strengthen their relationship during this difficult time.

Storage Unit - Ariel and Will had purchased and were given many baby items prior to baby Onyx arriving. These items are currently stored in their apartment and are a constant reminder that their baby is no longer here. They are seeking support to pay for a storage unit to safely store the baby items.
