Family. Without them, where would any of us be.
We all come from a start where we are cared for by other human beings, and these people, whether biological or not, become our family.
Some of us are the lucky ones, have a wonderful childhood, within the loving arms and support of this family during our formative years. Each day builds upon the other a lifetime of moments that in our future we will look back upon with gratitude.
Some of us continue to be lucky, and begin to build our own families as young adults, beyond the one that started us. New experiences as partners in a relationship, parents, adult siblings and children to parents who are beginning to take their own different journey; the moments that make up these years are added to what will become our most treasured memories.
And some people remain very fortunate throughout their lives with their two families, experiencing barest minimum of natural loss as time marches on. No circumstances force the family apart, nor do any major illnesses, debilitating injuries or untimely deaths have any part in their lives.
But this is not so for so many others.
At some point, most of us will experience fear, separation, heartbreaking loss, and yes, even the very fortunate will inevitably feel this too… because we love. Some families experience this at a level where they need something good to come their way, to help balance their sadness with a bit of happiness and celebration.
What if we could EVERY DAY do something wonderful for just ONE of these families- when someone in their life is selflessly giving of themselves, or they are dealing with debilitating injury or illness?
That’s what we’d like to do, and we need your help. Many good hearts make these things possible.
Specifically, we’d like the funds to be able to regularly welcome in the door military families whose parent or spouse is being or has been deployed, and families dealing with disability and disease, to give them the gift of a free beautiful portrait for their home; one that celebrates a special moment together, a moment that is part of THEIR family story.
Our Photography Studio is about celebrating lives and relationships. We build images that show love, talent and passion – often in images featuring simple everyday moments that truly tell the story of the individual and family. We call this a StoryPage Portrait…. one page out of the book that is their lives.
We want to have the ability to provide our special work at no charge to some of the many people whose circumstances threaten the happiness, security and wellbeing of their family as they know it today, and to whom this experience and portrait would be considered an unreachable luxury.
Though we can certainly, and have, significantly reduced our rate to help to make this happen, we can’t give the gift outright, and continue to do it indefinitely as we learn about each of these families, without help from others that feel as we do – that our military families who sacrifice their family time, plus those in circumstances less fortunate than ours, could benefit by an experience like this that focuses on their happiness together as a family.
We’re looking for donations with the hope to gift 365 families annually…
a celebration for ‘One Per Day’.
With every $450 total received, a consultation and session complete with finish artwork and a framed 14” StoryPage Wall Portrait can be provided to a family. The Studio has reduced its normal price for these sessions, plus will cover the fees associated with the GoFundMe Campaign and credit card processing, and the expense of orchestrating and implementing such a project.
We look forward to every family to whom we can give our collective hearts… yours and ours… by preserving their family moment in this very special way.
For your donation, we’d be proud to count you as a StoryPage Hero in OUR family at B. St.Pierre Studio, and will send you our own personal thank you, plus make sure recipient families know of the community that made the portrait possible.
For all donations of $100 or over... we will be sure that you know whose session you’ve helped to fund, by providing a thank you note with a picture of their StoryPage Portrait from the family themselves once they have had their session.
For any that donate the whole $450 that funds the complete experience for a family; session and framed wall portrait...we will be thrilled to add our personal thanks as a StoryPage Super Hero, along with a surprise gift (trust me – it will be something you’ll enjoy having!) from our Studio that will make you always feel wonderful about the gift you gave to another.

We count ourselves as one of the "fortunate ones", though we have experienced the heartache of disease and resulting loss of loved ones too soon from our lives. Around those heartaches have been beautiful family times preserved in memorable photographs that we can enjoy when we think about our times together as a family. That's what makes us lucky.
