Kickstart One Africa 100.1 FM

The All African People’s Development and Empowerment Project (AAPDEP) is getting ready to bring its own non-commercial FM radio station back onto the airwaves with a new format featuring the complete library of speeches by Chairman Omali Yeshitela, along with special presentations by other leaders of the African liberation movement. The station’s call letters are WUBP and its tagline is 'One Africa! 100.1 FM!' 

AAPDEP's mission is to collectivize the vast skills of Africans around the world in order to establish community based development projects that improve the quality of life for African people everywhere while promoting self-reliance and self-determination as key to genuine, sustainable development.

WUBP - One Africa 100.1 FM - is in an important tool for engaging in the war of ideas and forwarding AAPDEP's mission through the station's programming and volunteer opportunities. Through radio, we are free from the censorship of social media. We are connecting with Africans around the block and around the world. We are building a network of African broadcasters, consolidating a common narrative as part of our quest to unify and liberate the African nation.

AAPDEP is partnering with Burning Spear Media on this important project. $3,000 is urgently needed for equipment, including an emergency broadcast alert system, for the FM station.
